Motorola Private Sessions presents Inaya Day (Live PA), 17th Nov

She is a versatile songwriter, having co-written the first two singles from Randy Crawford’s album “Every Kind Of Mood”, one for the US charts and the other for the UK. Inaya also collaborated with Bootsy Collins to write tracks for his album “Fresh Outta P University”.

As a singer herself, Inaya Day has featured on hit singles by Missy Elliot, Sean P. Diddy Combs, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Bootsy Collins, Big Daddy Kane, Jonathan Butler, Randy Crawford and Michael Jackson, to name a few.

Inaya recorded the vocals for Mousse T’s famous dance floor hook “Horny” which topped the Billboard dance charts, and the Missy Elliot single “Gossip Folk” that was remixed by Mousse T.

She wrote and recorded the vocals for the club classic “I Just Can’t Get Enough” (produced by Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero) as well as the dance anthem “I Will” (for the Mongobonix project).

You can also hear her on DJ Mike Cruz’s “Movin’ Up”, another floor-filler she co-wrote that peaked at No.3 on the Billboard dance charts.

On her own, Inaya has landed on the Billboard dance charts with solo singles like the No.1 club hits “Can’t Stop Dancin’”, “Keep Pushin’” and “Hold Your Head Up High”.

Inaya Day has an amazing vocal talent, rivalling those of famous dance music vocalists Julie McKnight, Kathy Brown and Lisa Millet. Her music is at “the next level” and she is more than at home on stage. Watching her perform is an electrifying experience rarely found in today’s music industry.

This is proving to be her biggest year yet. She had a No.1 track on the club charts as a featured artiste with ATFC. She went to No. 1 in Australia as the vocalist on the Mr Timothy produced dance record “I Am Tha One”. And she had a Top 5 single in the UK charts with “Nasty Girl”, a remake of a Prince song originally done by Vanity 6.
Not one to rest on her success, the follow-ups to those hits is already released. Inaya’s new single is a collaboration with legendary club vocalist Barbara Tucker called “Do You Think Of Me”, and she has another exclusive Australian release as the featured singer on “The Glamorous Life” by T-Funk, a remake of the original 80s hit by Sheila E.

Motorola is pleased to announce a very special event happening next month featuring U.S. recording artiste and dance music star Inaya Day:
