"RAW" at Twelvesi

twelveSI launches a new club night called “RAW” on Saturday 10th September at Atmosphere the club. It’s a celebration of unity between the various clubbers living musically and tunefully together in the capital city and across Malaysia.

“RAW” is about patriotism, peace and unity. “RAW” is a celebration of life, liberty and freedom. “RAW” intends to capture the Merdeka spirit and fire up the clubbing community with an explosive Saturday night of chunky, funky house music courtesy of DJ Joey G.
Atmosphere will be converted into barracks while the twelveSI platoons will roll call all citizens dressed in military styled gear and camouflage pants to march into the club for FREE. (Standard cover charge is RM40, includes one drink.) Rations of limited edition “RAW” T-shirts can also be won by 50 clubbers every Saturday.

“RAW has been conceptualised to encourage the Merdeka spirit among clubbers today,” says Jeannie Khoo, marketing manager at twelveSI. “We want to extend the celebration of our nation’s independence beyond just one day so that everyone can be a part of that moment and truly understand what Merdeka stands for.”

“RAW” kicks off on 10th September 2005 at Atmosphere, with DJ Joey G headlining the launch accompanied by band of live percussionists to drum the clubbers on to the dance floor. Both the club and the twelveSI courtyard will be transformed into a military façade complete with the staff in camouflage pants and khaki green t-shirts.
