Planet Hollywood Kuala Lumpur presents UNGU

Indonesian rock-band, UNGU will be performing live at Planet Hollywood on 25 th June 2006 (Sunday) at 3pm. This exclusive showcase will be a chance for fans to experience the incredible sounds of UNGU, up, close and personal in the intimate setting of Planet Hollywood.

UNGU, a band that is known in Indonesia as one of the most creative band are slowly squeezing their way up and trying their very best to captivate many fans. UNGU is all about simplicity. The band was formed in year 1996 by the bassist Mimik . It was then joined by Pasha (vocalist), Oncy (guitar), Enda (guitar) and Rowman (drums) . For this special showcase, fans can expect the band to belt out its radio-friendly hits from their chart-topping albums such as the phenomenally successful Demi Waktu , Seperti Yang Dulu and Berikan Aku Cinta from their latest and third album; Melayang. The album has sold more than 300,000 units and entitled them for a Double Platinum Award in Indonesia .

From their first album; Laguku in year 2002, their second album; Tempat Terindah in 2004 and just recently Melayang , UNGU are slowly seen to be holding the key to success in this industry.
