The search is on for “THE” funkiest movers and shakers from the thousands of dance hopefuls in Malaysia to choreograph Too Phat’s 2006 road shows. The “Dare For More” Judges, will analyze very closely the wannabe Britneys’, Kylies’, Beyonces’ and Justins’ as they go hip to hip in a “FreeStyle” battle to win this once in a lifetime chance to work with Too Phat.
Who can compete?
Open auditions for this dance competition is not only for the die-hard hip-hop dancers, but also for professional dance instructors of ballet, salsa and many more. 21 years and above.
When and where?
Open audition:-22nd April 2006 & 23rd April 2006 (10am -1.00pm / 2pm - 6pm ) at Zouk KL
1st HEAT 4th May 2006 @ Zouk KL:-10 contestants (4 contestants will be eliminated, 6 contestants to go through to the 2nd HEAT)*Sub-Challenge : Contestants will have to draw their songs from a play list which may contain non-hip hop beats, bonus points will be given to those who performs wellMAIN challenge : Freestyle (contestants to provide their own music)

Rules & Regulations:
1. This contest is open to all 21 years and above. 2. Type of dance: R&B, free stylin, street dance & break dance. 3. Each contestant is required to showcase not more than 4 mins of dance performance to music(s) of their choice without explicit contents during auditions. 4. All contestants are to provide their own CD, costumes, hair styling & makeup. 5. Contestants who do not turn up or are late for the auditions, semis and/or finals will be deem disqualified. 6. No vulgarity, obscenity or aggression is allowed in this contest. 7. Upon registration, an official letter/ email will be sent out to each participating entry. 8. Contestants are allowed to change their performance item and dance music at each round of contest. 9. Participation is on a first-come-first-served basis. All registration forms must be duly completed and submited with full details of all the members by 21 April 2006. 10. No replacement of contestants is allowed throughout the contest.11. Contestants' apparel and costumes must not bear prominent branding unless it is the adidas Original product.12. 20pax/ groups per category will be shortlisted for semis and 10pax/groups per category will be shortlisted for the finals.13. The judges' decision is final and no further correspondence will be entertained.14. Prize(s) are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 15. The Organiser and partner, including all sponsors or third-party suppliers involved in this evemt. will not be liable for any loss of personal belongings of the contestants, accidents, injury or damage incurred during the event. 16. The Lounge: London pres GET ON THE LONDON BUS! @ Velvet Underground
The Lounge is a series of parties that are dedicated to the lifestyle and nightlife of major cities around the world like Paris, London, New York, Tokyo to name a few. The Lounge will celebrate and promote each city’s culture from film, art, fashion, music and lifestyle through visuals displayed on the night against the the city’s backdrop with loungey house sounds in the background. The series kicked off with the City of Love – Paris (10th June 2005) and will continue with the next metropolitan cities as mentioned.
For The Lounge London, Zouk KL will be working hand-in-hand with the British Council to portray the best of London’s art, fashion and lifestyle. This party will be like no other Zouk KL has hosted. On the itinerary that night, Specially Invited Guest will have the privilege to lounge around “London” at Velvet Underground where we will be serving the authentic English fish and chips, while they are treated to a 2 hour Private Screening of “24 Hour Party People” and later to dance the night away in the streets of “London”.

SYNOPSIS OF MOVIE
Manchester, 1976: Cambridge educated Tony Wilson, a Granada TV Presenter, is at a Sex Pistols gig. Totally inspired by this pivotal moment in music history, he and his friends set up a record label, Factory Records, and proceed to sign a number of bands destined to be some of the most influential artists of their time. First, Joy Division, who go on to become New Order; then come the Happy Mondays.
What ensues is a tale of music, sex, drugs, larger-than-life characters, and the birth of one of the most famous dance clubs in the world, The Hacienda. Graphically depicting the music and dance heritage of Manchester from the late 70s to the early 90s, 24 Hour Party People documents the vibrancy that made Mad-chester the place to be.

The Lounge: London pres GET ON THE LONDON BUS! @ Velvet Underground
The Lounge is a series of parties that are dedicated to the lifestyle and nightlife of major cities around the world like Paris, London, New York, Tokyo to name a few. The Lounge will celebrate and promote each city’s culture from film, art, fashion, music and lifestyle through visuals displayed on the night against the the city’s backdrop with loungey house sounds in the background. The series kicked off with the City of Love – Paris (10th June 2005) and will continue with the next metropolitan cities as mentioned.
For The Lounge London, Zouk KL will be working hand-in-hand with the British Council to portray the best of London’s art, fashion and lifestyle. This party will be like no other Zouk KL has hosted. On the itinerary that night, Specially Invited Guest will have the privilege to lounge around “London” at Velvet Underground where we will be serving the authentic English fish and chips, while they are treated to a 2 hour Private Screening of “24 Hour Party People” and later to dance the night away in the streets of “London”.

SYNOPSIS OF MOVIE
Manchester, 1976: Cambridge educated Tony Wilson, a Granada TV Presenter, is at a Sex Pistols gig. Totally inspired by this pivotal moment in music history, he and his friends set up a record label, Factory Records, and proceed to sign a number of bands destined to be some of the most influential artists of their time. First, Joy Division, who go on to become New Order; then come the Happy Mondays.
What ensues is a tale of music, sex, drugs, larger-than-life characters, and the birth of one of the most famous dance clubs in the world, The Hacienda. Graphically depicting the music and dance heritage of Manchester from the late 70s to the early 90s, 24 Hour Party People documents the vibrancy that made Mad-chester the place to be.
